Deutsche Post AG: Katrin Suder to take over Supervisory Board Chair

Bonn - The Supervisory Board of Deutsche Post AG intends to elect Katrin Suder (53) as the Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board following the Annual General Meeting on May 2, 2025. Katrin Suder is set to succeed Nikolaus von Bomhard, who has decided not to stand for re-election after two terms. Hence, the board discussed the succession during its regular Supervisory Board meeting.
Nikolaus von Bomhard was elected to the Supervisory Board in 2016 and has served as Chairman since 2018. During his tenure, he also chaired the Executive Committee, the Strategy and Sustainability Committee, the Nomination Committee, and the Mediation Committee, and was a member of the Staff Committee. He accompanied the development and the successful implementation of DHL Group's strategy in recent years, which has expanded the company's global market position and structurally improved its profitability.
Katrin Suder is a Supervisory Board member and advisory council focusing on digital transformation and sustainable technologies. She was first elected to the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Post AG on May 4, 2023. As a physicist and recognized expert in artificial intelligence, she worked for several years as a management consultant at McKinsey and later served as State Secretary at the German Federal Ministry of Defense. She also chaired the Digital Council of the German Federal Government.
The Supervisory Board has also endorsed the re-election of Ingrid Deltenre (64) and Lawrence Rosen (66) to the Supervisory Board. Ingrid Deltenre was elected to the Supervisory Board in 2016 and is a member of the Executive Committee, the Staff Committee, and the Nomination Committee. Lawrence Rosen has been a Finance and Audit Committee member since 2020. The Annual General Meeting on May 2, 2025, will propose to elect Ingrid Deltenre for a three-year term and Lawrence Rosen for an additional four-year term.
