Share buy-backs are considered as an additional measure to offer attractive shareholder returns. Those are deemed appropriate in case DHL Group has available excess liquidity after regular dividend payments while also take relevant M&A spending into consideration.

The repurchased shares will either be retired, used to service long-term executive remuneration and possible future employee share offerings or to meet possible obligations under the convertible bond 2017/2025.
