The following Terms of Use / Disclaimer regulate the limitations and usage guidelines when using the Artificial Intelligence DHL IR Research Assistant (“DRA””) Search function provided by DHL (“DHL” or “we” or “us”) through its website.
DRA is an automated system powered by an Azure OpenAI Large Language Model. It is designed to assist investors and other interested parties to search for answers within DHL’s financial reports, presentations, statistical books and other publications published on DHL’s website more efficiently.
Please note that DRA is a free of charge service proposal from DHL and therefore in DHL's sole discretion whether to be continued and/or cancelled and/or modified. While we strive to provide accurate search results through DRA, we cannot guarantee their accuracy and/or their completeness. You are required to verify and review the accuracy and completeness - as the case may be, with additionally obtained professional guidance - of any search result provided through DRA. This may include human review as appropriate of the financial reports, presentations, statistical books and other publications forming the basis of the DRA search before taking and/or refraining from any action or making any decisions based on the DRA search result. With regard to DRA, we act as technology provider only and are not responsible nor liable for any use or reliance on this feature.
We expressly reserve the right to modify, add or delete individual or all DRA functionalities without notice, or to discontinue DRA temporarily or permanently. We provide no guarantee for the uninterrupted accessibility of DRA. We have the right to suspend access to DRA for any period of time. We will only take steps to suspend or terminate access to DRA if we consider that there are reasonable commercial, security or technical grounds to do so or we consider that you have breached or are likely to breach these terms, our other terms of use or any other contractual terms which we may have with you.
To the extent permitted by law, in no event shall DHL, its affiliates or licensors or any third parties mentioned at the DHL website be liable for any incidental, indirect, exemplary, punitive and consequential damages, lost profits, including damages resulting from lost data or business interruption, resulting from the use of or inability to use the DHL website and its DRA feature as well as any other DHL systems, services, content or information whether based on warranty, contract, tort, delict, or any other legal theory, and whether or not DHL is advised of the possibility of such damages. Without limiting the foregoing, to the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that in no event shall DHL’s total liability for any damages (direct or otherwise) or loss regardless of the form of action or claim, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, exceed EUR 100.00. To the extent permitted by law, the remedies stated for you in these Terms of Use / Disclaimer are exclusive and are limited to those expressly provided for in these Terms of Use / Disclaimer.
When you use DRA, you understand and agree:
- This feature is currently being provided on a beta-version basis only for the purpose of assisting investors and other interested parties with their own searches within DHL’s financial reports, presentations, statistical books and other publications published on DHL’s website.
- DRA’s output may not always be accurate. You should not rely on output from DRA as a sole source of truth or factual information, or as a substitute for professional advice.
- This feature is not an advisory device nor provides, nor is intended to provide, any form of advice whatsoever.
- By providing DRA, we act as technology provider only and are not responsible nor liable for any use or reliance on this feature.
- You must evaluate DRA’s output for accuracy and appropriateness for your purposes, including using human review as appropriate, before using or sharing DRA’s output.
- You are solely responsible in the use of any search function, reaching conclusions, taking any actions or making any decisions.
- You must not post, send or share defamatory, offensive, intimidating, illegal, racist, discriminatory, obscene or inappropriate content in any form through DRA.
- You must not use DRA to conduct illegal or immoral activities.
- You must not share any sensitive personal data with DRA.
- You must not attempt to compromise the security of DRA or access confidential information related to the Service.
- You must not copy, distribute, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of DRA or any part that composes it, without our prior written consent.
- None of the DRA results and/or functionalities etc. may be used commercially or otherwise disseminated, modified, made a copy of or made accessible to third parties.
We prioritize the privacy and security of our users' information. Your IP address will not be collected and/or stored when you use DRA. However, be aware that DRA conversations may be reviewed by our teams to ensure adherence to these Terms of Use / Disclaimer and improve results. Do not share in your conversation through DRA any personal information that is not useful and/or requested for handling your search request. Besides, DHL’s Privacy Notice (Privacy Notice - DHL - Global) applies to the use of DRA respectively.
These Terms of Use / Disclaimer shall be subject to German law to the exclusion of its conflict of laws principles. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for any and all disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms of Use / Disclaimer is Bonn, Germany
