Deutsche Post remains exclusive logistics partner to the DFB and will continue to oversee the worldwide transport of equipment for all of the DFB's men's, women's and junior teams. As "Official DFB Partner", Deutsche Post DHL Group will continue to contribute its core competencies to the partnership. "This is particularly important for us, because as exclusive logistics partner, we ensure transport of a wide range of related items - from jerseys, balls and shoes, to training, IT and marketing equipment - and of course the players' luggage," says Sissing. "The DFB benefits from our extensive experience in the area of sport and event logistics as exemplified by our work for Formula 1, Formula E and international rugby over the years."
"With its wide-ranging involvement in both elite-level and broad based amateur football in Germany over the last ten years, Deutsche Post has assumed a very important role among our DFB partners, and we are very pleased to be extending this valuable partnership," says Denni Strich, Managing Director of DFB GmbH. With its expertise in the challenging field of sports and team logistics, Deutsche Post DHL Group also makes an important contribution to the success of our national teams."
The partnership between Deutsche Post and the DFB dates back to 2009. After initially supporting DFB's women's teams, Deutsche Post expanded the partnership in 2012 to include logistics support for the men's national team both in Germany and internationally.
